
A third partial list of Baseball Hall of Fame Players was announced today. They will be honored before the 79th MLB All-Star Game on July 15. This game will honor the largest group of baseball stars in history. Each week on Fox Saturday Baseball Game of the Week additional players will be announced.
Named today for the Baseball Hall of Fame were:
Rich "Goose" Gossage, Feruson Jenkins, Tommy Lasorda, Harmon Killibrew, Willie McCovey, Robin Roberts, Brooks Robinson, Bruce Sutter and Robin Yount. These baseball players are among 40 Hall of Fame inductees who will be honored at Yankee Stadium during its final year.
Previously announced were: Luis Aparicio, Ernie Banks, Yogi Berra, Wade Boggs, George Brett, Lou Brock, Gary Carter, Orlando Cepeda, Bob Feller, Rollie Fingers, Bob Gibson, Tony Gwynn, Ralph Kiner, Willie Mays, Eddie Murray, Phil Niekro, Frank Robinson, Mike Schmidt, Earl Weaver, and Dave Winfield.
The Hall of Famer players will be in an All-Star Game Red Carpet Parade presented by Chevrolet and will join American League and National League All-Stars in a parade up 6th Avenue.
