With A-Rod the New York Yankees topped the Toronto Blue Jays 9-4 and moved up the No. 7 team in the "AHN Top 10" baseball rankings to 50-44 on the season. He has a poor playoff production for which he is criticized but no one knocks his regular season stats.With 19 home runs for the season, Rodriguez is right on pace for an 11th straight season of 30+ home runs. He has also driven in 53 runs and should go past the 100 RBI mark for the same time span.
A-Rod has become a solid third-baser and 3 time AL-MVP which is really quite a feat after being a shortstop for the Seattle Mariners.
